TRANSMISSION CASE MUST BE MODIFIED AND FRONT PUMP MUST BE ALIGNED TO
ADAPTER.
NOTES; THE 331-318 REQUIRES EXTENSIVE MODIFICATION OF YOUR
TRANSMISSION CASE. Complete instructions are included for modification of the
transmission case and installing the adapter. There are three choices for aligning the
adapter to the transmission front pump. 1. We can simply supply the adapter and
instructions, 2. We can supply an adapter with a rebuilt front pump aligned to the adapter
or 3. We can align your front pump to the adapter. We can supply the starter. We do not
supply information regarding engine or transmission installation in to specific frames,
bodies, etc. This is the responsibility of the customer and care should be taken to address
the issues of motor and transmission mounts, driveline, body and frame clearance, gear
ratios, etc. BEFORE the purchase of the engine to transmission adapter.
