MATERIAL / MACHINING METHODS

WILCAP CNC MACHINED CAST ALUMINUM ADAPTER PLATE, STEEL FLEXPLATE W/ NEW RING GEAR, ALUMINUM CRANKSHAFT SPACER, DOWEL PINS, GRADE 8 CRANKSHAFT ATTACHMENT BOLTS, ALLOY ENGINE TO ADAPTER FASTENERS.

NOTES; The 308-350 comes drilled with the Chevrolet and GM Buick, Olds, Pontiac V8 bellhousing bolt pattern. The Mopar starter must be modified and the transmission case ground for clearance. You must specify which transmission was on the motor as the automatic and manual transmission crankshafts differ. The adapter plate is drilled with 4 holes on each side to assist in mid-mounting the engine. The kit is supplied with a drawing showing the hole locations for fabricating the mid-mount. Complete instructions are included for installing the adapter. We do not supply information regarding engine or transmission installation in to specific frames, bodies, etc. This is the responsibility of the customer and care should be taken to address the issues of motor and transmission mounts, driveline, body and frame clearance, gear ratios, etc. BEFORE the purchase of the engine to transmission adapter
